One might wonder why a foreign missions ministry is based in the United States. The logic behind this is simple. LACLS uses a variety of suppliers for the books that are provided to the international library resource centers. With only one exception, these suppliers are all located in the United States. If this ministry were based in a foreign country, the international shipping charges as well as import/export expenses would be astronomical and would offset the substantial discounts that the suppliers offer, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the donated dollars.

With that in mind, LACLS orders books from its location in Springfield, Missouri and also receives donated computers. When received, the books and computers are processed and prepared in our offices for delivery to Bible colleges and schools through out Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
